Incentives Investigation and Initial Negotiations
ICA has been retained by a global e-commerce firm to perform incentives investigation and initial negotiations in various locations with local and national governments across the US, Canada, Southeast Asia, and Central America. In each case ICA reviewed the programs available, examined recent deals in each market, and compiled a list of opportunities that met the client’s needs. We also provided expertise on the culture and process for negotiation in each market (some countries prefer “but-for” negotiations, others require prior commitment). In several cases, ICA was also called upon to act as the initial contact to begin the negotiation process in order to maintain confidentiality and to leverage existing relationships.
The company continues to move forward with its expansion plans.
